Pedal for Pride 2026

August 16-20, 2026 | Traverse City to Ferndale

Pedal for Pride is a five-day community ride across Michigan. We roll out of Traverse City and finish together at Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center in Ferndale to celebrate visibility, solidarity, and collective care.

Mission: raise funds and awareness for Affirmations and support life-affirming programs that help LGBTQ+ people feel safe, seen, and connected.

A Safe and Positive Space

Affirmations centers a welcoming environment where LGBTQ+ people of all identities and ages can gather, access support, and experience belonging.

Services support basic needs, mental health, peer groups, and practical guidance so people can thrive as their full selves.

Rider Commitments

Registration Fee

Each rider commits to a one-time $600 registration fee, which is non-refundable. This covers campsites for all ride nights on the trip (not the night before the trip), groceries for breakfast/lunch/evening snacks, water and camp beverages, and shared RV + support vehicle costs.

Fundraising Minimum

Each rider commits to raising a minimum of $2,500 in support of Affirmations.

Training Commitment

Riders are expected to train consistently and arrive prepared for multi-day endurance riding.

Complete the Ride

Riders commit to completing the ride to the best of their ability, barring unforeseen circumstances.
